Museum open from 9am to 4pm. Schedule may be revised. Contact is Buddy Isbell.

May 3rd and 4th — Central Texas Airshow, Temple, TX

Some museum aircraft will be going out to exhibit at the airshow.

May 10th — CAF Fly-In, Corsicana, TX

Two Nanchangs will be representing the museum.

May 17th — Armed Forces Day — Wings Over Grand Prairie

We honor all those who have served our country at the "Wings Over Grand Prairie" fly-in on Armed Forces Day. The event will be held at Aviator Air Centers at the Grand Prairie Airport.

May 28th — Dallas FSDO

Museum staff will be visiting the Dallas FSDO for their open house between 10am and 4pm. Contact: Susan Traugott

June 5th to 8th — Lone Star Red Star

Red Star Pilots Association fly-in and formation clinic at Lancaster.

Primarily a fly-in for CJs and Yaks. Guest speaker Saturday night will be Gail Peck, former commander of the 4477th Test Squadron that secretly flew MiGs over the Tonopah Test Range in the Western U.S. desert in a program called Constant Peg.

June 14th — Ada OK

All L-39s will be flying out to the Ada Air Expo in Oklahoma.

The 6000+ attendance event was opened by L-39 Bord 107 in formation with two P-51D Mustangs. The AN-2 brought it's own shade.

June 28th — Lancaster Airport (LNC) 40th Anniversary

40th Anniversary of airport opening. Event coordinator Arb Rylant, 972-227-5721.

July 28th to August 3rd — AirVenture, Oshkosh, WI

CJ-6As flying up for the 50th anniversary of the type. MI-24 may also be going.

September 6th — CAF Lancaster Wing Open Cockpit Day

The Cold War Air Museum will be open and aircraft will be on display in conjunction with the CAF Open Cockpit Day.

October 4th and 5th — NTRA Air Show

Museum aircraft will be flying out to the North Texas Regional Airport Air Show at Grayson County. Air Boss Bruce Huddleston, 580-436-2803.

October 11th and 12th — Alliance Air Show

Museum Aircraft will be attending the Alliance Air Show.

October 15th — Cub Scout Troop Visits Museum

A Cub Scout Pack from Armstrong Elementary visited the museum.

October 17th to 19th — Lone Star Red Star Fall Pack & Fly

The Fall Pack and Fly has been moved to join the event happening in Muskogee Oklahoma (KMKO).
